Amsterdam Container Terminals (ACT) and Amsterdam Marine Terminals (AMT) are wholly owned subsidiaries of Amsterdam Port Holdings.
ACT is made up of two berths with a total length of 1,415 metres – two 400-by-57-metre indented berth and the marginal berth with a length of 615 metres – a depth alongside of 15 metres and a total yard area of 54.2 hectares. ACT also has an excellent on-dock rail facility with three 600-metre-long tracks that reach out towards the edge of the quay deck for the fast and efficient handling of containers. ACT offers easy access to several European countries by sea and by land.
AMT is a ro-ro terminal that performs stevedoring activities for automobile carriers and has a number of warehouses for the storage of other goods.
