Ensenada Cruiseport Village (ECV) is located in the heart of the Port of Ensenada, 110 kilometres south of the US border, in a large, well-protected bay. It is a premier two-berth cruise terminal and 198-slip yacht marina, covering an area of over 16 hectares.
ECV is one of the busiest cruise ports on the Mexican Pacific coast, welcoming over 600,000 travellers a year. To reinforce its success as one of Mexico's main cruise destinations, the facility is overseeing a major development project. New construction includes a hotel, a shopping centre, souvenir shops, restaurants, a movie theatre and leisure areas, as well as recreational facilities for sport fishing, diving and island tours.
ECV was acquired by HPH in 2001, six years after the federal government granted a 35-year concession for the operation of the facility. |
