Trimodal Container Terminal Venlo (TCT Venlo) is the prime inland gateway for the Dutch region of Venlo and the populous industrialised German Rhine/Ruhr area. Düsseldorf lies a mere 55 kilometres distant, and Cologne is just 90 kilometres away. It has been serving this region for over 25 years.
The terminal offers efficient connections to surrounding areas. It offers efficient rail access to and from Rotterdam, with four daily shuttle train departures for terminals on the River Maas and three weekly rail departures for the city area. With the coming on stream of an inland barge terminal at the second half of 2009, TCT Venlo will become truly trimodal.
TCT Venlo organises transport to and from the seaport as well as on-demand pick-up and delivery of containers by truck at the customer's front door. Services rendered by the terminal also include short-term and long-term storage of full containers, drop-off, a depot for empty containers, maintenance, repairs and cleaning. |
