Trimodal Container Terminal Belgium (TCT) is situated between Antwerp and Brussels on the Scheldt-Brussels Canal in Willebroek. This inland terminal was established in 1999. It handles the transport of containers to and from the seaport as well as on-demand pick-up and delivery by truck.
A node at the junction of international transport axes, TCT is the ideal link between the North Sea, the Willebroek region and the European market. The inland terminal is connected to the port of Rotterdam by regular barge services. There are also three sailings daily to the port of Antwerp, and a regular service to Zeebrugge.
TCT's inland terminal can handle most of the logistics requirements of its customers, such as transport between the North Sea, short-term and long-term storage of full containers, trucking to and from the Willebroek terminal, an empty container depot, fumigation, defumigation, as well as the handling of all customs formalities. |
